These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the JobMarket website, Discord bot, and related services operated under the JobMarket name.

1. The JobMarket Service

JobMarket provides tools and services related to jobs, hiring, developers, employers, recruiters, candidates, communities, job listings, and related interactions.

Certain functionality may be provided through the JobMarket Discord bot.

2. Eligibility

• Exploit JobMarket or Discord services
• Circumvent security measures, limitations, bans, or access restrictions
• Interfere with the normal operation of JobMarket
• Use automated methods to abuse, overload, scrape, or disrupt the service
• Use JobMarket for unlawful or unauthorized purposes

JobMarket may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when these rules are violated.

4. User Content

Users may submit information such as job listings, descriptions, profiles, messages, links, usernames, company information, application information, or other content.

You remain responsible for the content you submit.

By submitting content to JobMarket, you grant JobMarket permission to process, store, reproduce, transmit, and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate and provide the service.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the content and that your content does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.

5. Job Listings, Candidates, and Users

JobMarket may provide a platform that allows employers, recruiters, developers, freelancers, candidates, companies, communities, or other users to interact.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, JobMarket is not a party to employment agreements, freelance agreements, payments, hiring decisions, contracts, interviews, negotiations, or other arrangements made between users.

Users are responsible for independently evaluating opportunities, employers, candidates, contracts, compensation, payments, and other information.

JobMarket does not guarantee that:

• A job listing is legitimate or accurate
• An employer, recruiter, candidate, or user is who they claim to be
• A candidate will be suitable for a position
• A user will respond to another user
• Employment, freelance work, payment, or hiring will occur
• Information supplied by another user is complete or accurate
• A job opportunity or transaction will be successful

Users should exercise appropriate judgment and caution before sharing sensitive information, entering agreements, performing work, hiring another person, or transferring money.

6. Discord Bot

Use of the JobMarket Discord bot is also subject to Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Developer Terms, Developer Policy, and other applicable Discord policies.

Server owners and administrators are responsible for granting the bot appropriate permissions within their Discord servers.

JobMarket may modify bot commands, features, integrations, permissions, or functionality when reasonably necessary.

JobMarket may also disable particular features or restrict bot access in order to address abuse, security risks, technical problems, or violations of these Terms.

7. Accounts and Security

Where JobMarket provides user accounts, profiles, or connected Discord functionality, users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own accounts and devices.

You should notify JobMarket if you become aware of unauthorized use or a security issue related to your use of the service.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to JobMarket when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:

• Misuse of JobMarket or Discord infrastructure

We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, availability, suitability, quality, or completeness of user-generated content, job listings, candidates, employers, opportunities, or other information provided through the service.

JobMarket does not provide legal, financial, employment, recruitment, or professional advice.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JobMarket and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or similar damages resulting from or related to:

• Use or inability to use JobMarket
• Reliance on job listings or user-generated content
• Interactions, communications, or agreements between users
• Employment or hiring decisions
• Payments or failure to receive payment
• Loss of data
• Unauthorized access
• Third-party services
• Service interruptions
• Fraudulent or misleading content submitted by users

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
